Udderly syncronized

Brandon at TextURL has spotted two cloned cow udders, visual representations that look and say pretty much exactly the same thing. A badlandian pair as good as any. I'm sure there are more of these udders though - can you think of any?

Now, I'm not really worried about which came first. I'm sure it's just a brain sync–or at least a brief-sync. After all, the solution is a fairly elegant way to visually demonstrate the key promise of "fresh dairy products." Kudos to both creative teams for finding a simple solution that distills the promise down to its essence.
The problem I have is larger than two similar looking ads. It’s the hundreds of visually similar ads I see when I review awards shows, design journals, and ad-blogs.

Uhhh, this'd be a simple coincidence.
I don't understand why people get all wiggy about this kind of thing - it's more interesting than scandalous.
There's no reason on earth why someone in Japan or the UK or wherever should have to know every fuggin' ad ever created.
The only problem I have with similar ads is when an ad wins in a well-known show and then it still gets done again in markets who should be aware of the original. All creatives share the responsibility to keep up with their own national shows, CA, the One Show, D&AD, etc.
But beyond that, no.
That's what I was saying when I pointed this one out. I don't think this is an example of theft. It's an example of brain sync--two creatives coming up with the same idea because there are only so many visual solutions out there.
I'd be interested to see if there aren't more udders.
I have to say, though, that the ad on the right is better executed. Has something to do with the cropping, I reckon: it makes the bottles look more like real udders. No?
