Tabasco - Fire Truck Bus - Belgium.

Matthias Dubois at Duval Guillaume shows off this Tabasco Bus that won a national competition for "most original bus design" down in Belgium. They've simply turned a regular public transport bus into a firetruck.

"After all, Tabasco is so hot that you need a fire truck to cool down your mouth after you’ve eaten some."

Jupiler - Ice Beer Poster (with real ice)

The ad agency Famous in Belgium enlisted some help from JCDecaux media to create an Ice beer poster - that is, the poster is made of ice and the beers are frozen in it. The Jupiler beer bottles had to be replaced during the day, so in a sense it also worked as a sample stand. ;)

Carlsberg creates billboard out of bottles

To announce their new bottles in Belgium, Carlsberg (with the help of Duval Guillaume Antwerp) built their logo on poster with the new bottles.

About 500 bottles were used for each poster.

(don't ask me how you get to be ECD, CD and agency producer all at the same time, but I hope you get three paychecks with all them titles mate.)

Duval Guillaume, Antwerp are at it again for Che magazine.
In the "better world" of Che magazine, women go from your regular street-level eye-candy to full-blown I carry my own frame bikini-models who stand on your desk all day. So that you may ogle from every angle. Don't you worry about food, water, a lavatory or any other human needs, boy. Don't fret your little dreamworld-head with that. Husssh.

Here's what is labelled an "outdoor campaign" by Duval Guillaume Brussels, I emailed and asked them where this ran because when I first saw the ads I misinterpreted them a little. I even went to Ooops.be to try and get wiser but there's nothing much on that site to be honest (except a great long list of ad agency clients under references, so I guess this means we need to pass ooops' spamfilter if we want to contact ad geeks in Belgium!) I blame my misunderstanding on my severe geek streak though, see inside.

Hyundai - Fly - (print) Belgium

Why do flies stick to your windshield like that? Hmmm? Duval Guillaume offer their explanation inside.

Osama Bin Laden, Adolf Hitler and Saddan Hussein have two things in common.

1) They're over-used in advertising
2) They were once little boys.

"Kids are cute, so treasure the moment.

HUMO - Mixing Cultures Osama bin Laden Cowboy / Hitler rastafarian / Mao Jazz / W Bush Bollywood (2006) Posters (Belgium)

Osama Cowboy
Hitler rastafarian
Mao Jazz
W Bush Bollywood

Our friends at mortierbrigade in Belgium sent in this poster campaign.

"An ad campaign made for the Belgian weekly magazine HUMO. We thought by mixing the cultures, we could even make the "worst persons" -interpret free at will- beautiful. Four different ads were placed in print in the magazine and used outdoors. The campaign proved to be very popular, with people tearing the big outdoor posters off to use at home. These were wild-posted next to the real campaigns for the regional elections."
