"You went to a weird seven." Yuk yuk yuk. I've been hoping Booking Dot Yeah campaign would finally live up to its potential. This spot finally has.

Heineken "Odyssey" (2014) 2:30 (Netherlands)

Heineken "Odyssey" (2014) 2:30 (Netherlands)

Continuing its Legendary campaign, Heineken lets us know that it's not only celebrities who do awesome things in commercials. An everyday dude can, too. Or, a group of everyday dudes each specializing in particular talents.

Booking.com "Epic booking" (2014) 1:00 ( The Netherlands)

Booking.com "Epic booking" (2014) 1:00 ( The Netherlands)

Epic music, epic montages, nutty voice over. Very tongue and cheek and over the top, which I guess is what you need to do to set yourself apart from all the other travel sites out there. Because they all do the exact same thing.

Coca-Cola "Roll Out Happiness" (2013) 1:45 (Netherlands)

Once again Coke enlivens us and makes us happy thanks to carbonated sugar and green space. Is it me or has this campaign now reached the level of diminishing returns?

Anomaly Amsterdam creates its first integrated campaign for FOX

Welcome to Dutchland is a teaser campaign that uses the old fish out of water sight gag with characters from Fox's hit movies and shows.

Walking Dead is my favorite because it makes a comment on the "coffee house culture," too. Silly stoners.

Trouw - Doubt - (2013) :30 (The Netherlands)

Trouw - Doubt - (2013) :30 (The Netherlands)

"Doubt. Without doubt there's be no discussion."

Dutch is a pragmatic sort of language, and I can 'hear' how this copy would sound a lot better in Dutch, making it all seem more profound. It's also interesting that it's the newspapers editors and journalists you see in the ad, and not stock photos of random models. “Most likely the very best newspaper in Holland” is the tagline Trouw has run with for years. yes, most likely, even the line doubts.
