Hyundai Veloster - Death (fooled) - (2011) :30 (The Netherlands)

The board of directors at Hyundai did not approve this ad, as they deemed it "too shocking for our brand", but it's still quite a funny and effective idea showing off the three-door car.

Levi's street murals in Berlin celebrate modern day pioneers for "Go Forth" campaign

Berliner Pioneers Immortalized locally by artist Vhils to celebrate "Go Forth".

To honour the campaign, Levi’s and W+K Amsterdam collaborated with the Portuguese street artist Alexandre Farto, aka Vhils, to create a series of street murals that captures the faces of some of Berlin’s modern day pioneers in a dramatic and poetic way. These pioneers serve as an inspiration for the city and embody the 'Go Forth’'spirit. Vhils sculpted the portraits of pioneers Fadi Saad, Various & Gould, Joe Hatchiban and Sven Marquardt into major building facades dotted throughout Berlin.

This "Making of" documentary capturing Vhils’ at work complements the murals themselves.

Heineken - the Date - (2011) :90

Heineken - the Date - (2011) :90

Heineken are upping "the entrance", this time with a date that is inspired by Goodfellas and a wild party in Chinatown. Guillaume Dolmans plays the perfect date who brings his lady through the restaurant kitchen, bumps into a magician, has a shadow-fight with a chinese dragon and then invents new dance-moves. The best part of this ad is how the "making of" clip keeps up the idea that Guillaume Dolmans is all kinds of awesome. Oh, and it's all based on scenes from w+k ECD Eric Quennoy's life. True story.

Interbest Outdoor company threatens: advertise here or he gets naked!

Strippers sell! Even if you really don't want to see anyone naked, as your drive to work on your morning commute. This guy was plastered on a large billboard and as the days passed, he stripped off little by little. The line? "The sooner you advertise here, the better..." Right, lets get a half-naked fit young woman up there instead. Poor doofus-dad.

Philips Nigel & Victoria - Apartment - part 1

Today, Philips launches ‘Nigel and Victoria’ a new online-only comedy show, or a non-romantic comedy because Nigel is failing miserably to score, and it previews new lifestyle products including iPad accessories, a solar rechargeable power pack, and different types of headphones.

Philips Nigel & Victoria - "It's my film" - part 2

Nigel and Victoria have their first very frank encounter about what sort of films they're trying to make here. If he's trying to woo her, he's going about it in a very odd way. Also, it looks like Victoria might be addicted to chocolate muffins.

Heineken - The Tube - (2010)

Heineken - The Tube - (2010)

I'm beginning to think that Heineken might be a nightmare client.

We all remember the walk in closet, which was quite the runaway success for the beer brand, aired practically everywhere around the planet and nabbed itself some lions in Cannes. I guess Heineken liked it too. So they asked for "more like that".
