"If you keep touching yourself you will go blind!" - well, now that you no braille that's not a problem, is it?

Army - Stuck in a rut - print, UK

This double-page spread uses the gutter to fit the question "Stuck in a rut?". I've never understood why that would make me want to join the army though. Try; "You get to drive tanks!" Seems that the target market are just waiting for a way out of their non-career and into a "more exiting" one (read: it can kill you).

anti smoking QUIT - lung X-Ray adbin, UK

Oh my god, I'm so grossed out. These helpful little bins allow you to dispose of your cigarette butts there, while doubling as a really gross image that may indeed turn you off from smoking, at least temporarily. See, part of the X-ray image is transparent allowing for the accumilated butts inside to be part of the visual. Apparently this is a new medium called "adbins".

The Economist new campaign - bringing back the visual.

AMV BBDO London has launched a new branding campaign for the economist, and with it they bring back the visual. And not just any visual,s they've gotten a hold of Paul Davis, Anthony Burrill and Design team Non Format (who did the "Balance" ad you see here) to lend a hand.

I love it, especially the "Balance" poster, my fave.

Tropicana smoothie - Fireworks campaign

DDB London has created this campaign for the new Tropicana smoothies - translating I suppose a "taste explosion" into actual firework like explosions. Kind of neat looking, however I'm nost so sure about the package design where fruits make up flowers. Pretty, sure, but I'm not so keen on drinking flowers. Are you?

Osram - Really powerful bulbs - posters

Saatchi & Saatchi South Africa demonstrate how powerful Osrams really powerful lightbulbs are. Answer, very powerful. This "forest" one is the creepiest looking but the kid in school (inside) is - in my humble opinion of course - the simplest execution of the idea. I'm not sure I want my lightbulbs this powerful.

RC Scorpion - Hedgehog - print

RC SCORPION remote control cars are tougher than those other remote controlled wimpy toys, and this is how Ogilvy London decided to communicate that.
If you don't want a remote controlled car, head over to Roadkilltoys for your very own squished raccoon.
