AM Collective - With Love, AM - Valentine's street art (2012)
The AM Collective (on twitter @AM_Collective ) decided to spread some love in Shoreditch this year by painting an anatomic heart and lots of little pink and red broken and whole hearts all over it on the wall of Village Underground yesterday. They then asked the punters and passers by to write messages in the hearts, expressing their love "or lack thereof".
Punters are encouraged to pick a particular heart to write within them, and slowly the piece becomes a fragmented book of many stories – almost like a cubicle toilet but a tad more romantic. Just like our beloved Shoreditch.

Vinnie Jones shows how hard and fast Hands-only CPR to Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees can help save the life of someone who has had a cardiac arrest. Ah Ah Ah staying alive, staying alive. And yes I realize I'm probably the only person ad-damaged enough to immediately recall this tainted love ad. Don't ask me why my synapses misfire so, I have no idea.
