Mediaweek.co.uk reports that Audi will be launching a £4 million campaign next week in the UK. The work created by BBH, includes a bit of tinkering with the famous Audi strapline Vorsprung durch Technik, attempting to appeal to men over-35 looking to own a powerful car.

Noel Gallagher backtalks Jack White for Coke song

Noel Gallagher backtalks Jack White for Coke song

As we all know Jack White from the White Stripes has written a song for Coke - Rumor Mill- Jack White to write next Hilltop song? - which some think makes Jack a sellout. Some say so louder than others, like Noel Gallagher who is quoted in Brandrepublic saying that Jack "ceases to be in the club" and that he "looks like Zorro on doughnuts" to boot. Noel has made insulting other stars an art form and it is the PR tool that serves to get his unibrow in the papers again whenever interest about him wanes... In this case though, perhaps he should have kept mum.... (quicktime inside)

November's best newspaper ad, says NWA

This months NWA judge Euro RSCG's UK Director of Creativity, Gerry Moira, said about the winning ad:

"There's something joyously irreverent about this ad - the pastiche of the royal commemorative plates, the depiction of Margaret as a playgirl Princess - there's lots to enjoy.
The attention to detail, from the furry handcuffs to the Union Jack thong, is creative and eye-catching and underlines the cheekiness that permeates the whole execution. And it really worked - I actually watched the programme."

Virgin viral game - spot the band names.

Virgin has a contest to promote their new online digital music service - see Virgin game at Heavy.com for the ad, which - ironically - has an ad running before it. Ground Zero created the ad which has no less than 74 band names hidden in it. Yes, seventy-four. I think I spotted five so far. Augh! This is tough!

To save you the trouble of loading it over at at heavy.com, just read more to see the ad without the virtual magnifying glass right here.
