o.b. Tampons - Dracula - print, Switzerland
Seeing this, I wonder why I haven't seen it before, honestly. Girls like vampires, right? Yeah! Girls use tampons! Tampons gather blood, man the ad is obvious. ;)

Total Beverage gets a Total Rehaul created by Suckle
Total Beverage is a super-huge, enourmous, gigantic, really really big liquor store in Westminister Colorado. Denver based Sukle Advertising & Design has created a fresh new identity for Total Beverage that is the total opposite of cluttered booze-shops. Inspired by the simplicity of European road signs and informational graphics Sukle brought order to a store large enough to contain all sorts of chaos. (Did I mention that the store is, like, big?)
Career Junction - Grocery Lists, Garden contract, Wardrobe diagram - print United Arab Emirates
Adidas Beijing Moments - press, China
TBWA\Tequila Hong Kong continues their "Beijing Moments" campaign for Adidas, now with posters depicting athletes from around the world with "the whole country behind them" - like the original thought in their "Together in 2008 Impossible is nothing" campaign previously shown here in Adland, depicting thousands of fellow countrymen giving a helping hand to the athletes. You can also see the campaign at adidas.com/beijingmoments Ok that totally stopped working for me so good luck with that I swear it was working a minute ago.
I find the first one kind of creepy due to recent activity around here. But that's probably just me.
Featuring: Chinese Taipei Taekwondo athlete Chu Mu-Yen, Chinese Taipei Taekwondo athlete Yang Shuchun, South Korean weightlifter Jang Mi Ran, Russian polevaulter Jelena Isinbajeva , American 400 meters runner Jeremy Wariner, and USA sprinter Tyson Gay.
Wonderbra - Shattered poster glass - print, Germany
Wonderbra, via Publicis Frankfurt, would like to inform us that with the wonderbra you do not only get a nice lift but also a rock hard chest that can shatter glass. I didn't know this was something to strive for, but I guess glass-shatteringly strong boobs could come in handy if you're a cat burglar or something. Maybe use them for self defense? "You looking at my cleavage? Huh? That THAT! *bang! boom" pow!*" Yeah, that could work.

Institutional Burti HD (photo retouching) - Vaticano - print, Brazil
"Only life produces better images than Vaticano"
I like the photoshop referencing layout. From ad agency NeogamaBBH, Sao Paulo.
Unicef - Don't Ignore me - print, China
We've seen the "person painted as the background" thing used to sell everything from secure internet to chocolate-chip cookies before - but here it finally makes total sense. In fact, the only way I think this could be made better is if these were real kids sitting around all day like this in an ambient/guerilla stunt. Well done O&M Shanghai. There are 1.5 million underprivileged children in China.
Arrive Alive - I'M FINE TO DRIVE - ambient, South Africa
The Jupiter Drawing Room in South Africa bring us life sized drunkards in the loo. I dig the girl who's so drunk that she can't tell the difference between the mens room and the ladies'.
McDonald's - Animated Egg Billboard , USA
Wow, what a fun billboard! Leo Burnett Chicago created this huge egg billboard for McDonald's, it only opens up between 6am and 10.30am, the time that eggs are on the menu at McDonalds.
Quickies press ad 1980 UK
The headline Quickies, the cleansing pads most girls prefer. is as close as the writer got to getting laid methinks. ;)
This ad ran in June 1980 in Over 21 magazine.
