Pay Gap - women are worth exactly half as much as men.

Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann, Vienna sends us this note with some..uh... notes. Using bank notes in advertising never made this much sense before.

Obsessed with breasts? Yes!

Sure, it's a neat photoshopping trick since the models actually still have their mammaries - but the scars are real in that it's the scars from Andrea Martin, director of The Breast Cancer Fund who's had mastectomies a few years ago.

The campaign for Breast Cancer awareness was created by Ken Mendelbaum at BBDO West and photographed by Heward Jue.

BBDO Bangkok shows that Alka-seltzer can cut through any heavy food in this print series. Is it possible to get a raging case of tent-pants when you look at an ad? Uhm.. when you're a girl? No? Never mind then, forget I even mentioned it, I'm just going to go take a cold shower....

Atari - Since 1972 - press ads.

Republic in New Zealand has created this branding campaign for cult-classic Atari, reminding everyone why it is a cult-classic.

OMG stunning!

To advertise their sharp knives, the brand name which I can not read (is it "long term"?) and ad agency "invisible", guangzhou cut really intricate motifs in thick paper posters and hung them in appropriate places.

A door God, a few lucky fish and a gorgeous looking vase inside.
Who said Chinese advertising was naive? This is fantastic! I want some!

Leo Burnett Mumbai uses Hitler, Chaplin and Che for highlight marker Luxor ads.

What do highlighters do? They highlight important parts of the story, right? Here they do more than that - if you read what's been highlighted you get another story alltogether. Ten extra gold stars to the entire team for managing this, and copywriter Russell Barrett, it must have been a royal pain to do.

Breast Cancer Awareness, you get it from everything , Malaysia

Breast Cancer Awareness and Saatchi&Saatchi, Malaysia would like to remind us all that you get cancer from pretty much every-dang-thing, ever. Or not.
As scary as this is to read, it won't get me into one of those breast crushing machines. Ever notice that whenever they speak about Breast Cancer on the news they always show some middle-aged woman getting her mammaries crushed in that thing?* You don't see the news showing the doctor snap on a plastic glove and say "now this won't hurt a bit" or the actual embarrasing examination when they talk about prostate cancer. No fair.
