Oh hang on, I forgot to mention that faceyourmanga is yet-another-create-your-own-avatar place, but with the added bonus of you being able to buy your creation in a nice large format, and possibly have it printed several times with different backgrounds and colors as giant post-pop-art referencing those Warhol portrait walls all the old* people (like Gabrielle Solis in desperate housewives) are still getting. It's not hard to use and you can go all makeup happy on yourself, so knock yourselves out.

* Yes I know that I'm older than both the character and actress Eva Longoria Parker who plays Gabrielle Solis. Age is all in your heads folks!

Postproduction house PS260 who did the Shining Redux last year have been toppled off their slick cutting throne by a band of hooligans called addictive TV who upped the ante and edited both film and sound to create Take the lead addictive TV Remix out of the new Antonio Banderas movie. Who knew that the sound of a movie could make a kick-ass dance track? Well, they knew, obviously.

Author Carole Matthews has written "A Whiff of a Scandal" and recently released "The Sweetest Taboo", the latter book contains sponsored text advertising for Ford Fiesta. Ford has paid Carole to include Ford Fiestas in her next novel as well. This isn't a brand new move, as you might already know Fay Weldon was paid by Bulgari to include their name in on of her novels, she did with pazazz when she named the book "The Bulgari connection".

Apart from the fiestas in Caroles novels, se also been commisioned to write short stories about the car that Ford will use in their advertising.

Err umm there is a disturbing similarity between the D&AD award winning Britart.com campaign from Mother and the ADCNY award-winning L.A. Museum of Contemporary Art campaign from TBWA/Chiat Day. This is probably old news but it's my first post so there.
