Super Bowl XLI Commerical Spoiler Alert - Last Update

Alright gang, you know the drill. This is the last update to the Super Bowl commercial spoiler alert we'll be posting before Sunday's game. If there are any big announcements between now and then, we'll post them either as an update to this post or as a separate post. Of course, as usual, on Sunday the ads go up in the Claymore Project, along with reviews and commentary.

King Pharmaceuticals - (:60) Unbranded spot titled "Heart Attack" in tandem with the American Heart Association to air shortly before halftime. The spot emphasizes the element of surprise to communicate the risks of uncontrolled high blood pressure, also called hypertension. Features a Heart Man going about his everyday business when he is ambushed by high blood pressure and his accomplices - high cholesterol, overweight, and diabetes. Lions Gate - Spot will advertising new the movie, Pride, a drama based on a true story about a teacher in Philadelphia who starts an inner city swimming team, starring Terrence Howard and Bernie Mac. [Agency: In-house]

Anheuser-Busch/Bud Light (:30) Titled "The Hitchhiker" spooky music plays as a couple drives down a dark road. While the woman fumbles with a map, her boyfriend slows down to pick up a hitchhiker. She is alarmed and points out he's holding an ax. "But he has Bud Light, " the boyfriend pleads." "And an ax!" she insists. Honda Motor Co. - 3-4 spots - (:30) "Elvis" for their CR-V SUV was released back in September, :30 Gil the Crab got scrapped new spot, and (:30) ad called "Slalom" touting Honda as the most fuel-efficient brand in America in which cars maneuver through gas pumps set up in the dessert as driving cones. NFL Network - (:30) "Hanging Chads" is a celeb filled spot, set at the Super Bowl party of Cincinnati Bengal's Chad Johnson, Martha Stewart cooks for other guests that include British soccer star David Beckham, former U.S. attorney general Janet Reno, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, country music group Rascal Flatts, comic Jimmy Fallon, and singer LL Cool J. Snapple - (:30) The brand's first ever Super Bowl ads highlights their new super premium line of Red, White, Green and Black Teas. The spot in this quarter will focus on the "secret ingredient" of green tea (EGCG) and follows a tea-loving guy on his quest to China for metabolic enlightenment. Flomax by Boehringer Ingelheim (:30) This one sounds a bit like a tampon ad...bunch of male friends bike and talk about having fun and not having to rush to the bathroom as often. [Agency: Grey NY]

Phillips-Van Heusen - (:30) Ad to highlight Izod and Van Heusen brands with the Izod PerformX line featuring 'Amazing Race' winner and model Tyler Denk. [Agency: In-house and HomeNYC]

GoDaddy.com - 2-3 spots (1st and 4th quarter) Currently the only "approved" ad features Candice Michelle dacing in a champagne-soaked tee as the marketing department parties. Other possible spots included Nascar driver Danica Patrick along with 'Go Daddy Girl,' Candice Michelle. 'American Chopper's Paul Teutul Sr. and his sons Paul Jr., and Michael along with motorcycle drag-racing star Valerie Thompson [Agency: GoDaddy Productions]

Anheuser-Busch (10 :30s or 5 min total) - This ad featuring NASCAR superstar Dale Earnhardt Jr., titled "Apocalypse," includes fire-bombs, high-speed car chases, stunt jumps and helicopters to create a high-intensity, epic production. Shot near Lancaster, Calif., the scene is a barren desert depicting the end of the worldwhere Earnhardt takes on an angry group of post-Apocalyptic mutants for his highly coveted Budweiser. Pepsi - :90 total in first half - 2 of spots will be for Sierra Mist continueing the "It's that refreshing" campaign. One spot titled "Karate" has students explaining how they'd protect their Sierra Mist in a martial arts class. "Hospital" shows a patient in his hospital room and his unfulfilled request to get a sip of Sierra Mist. Also expected to kick off its new "Feel the Pepsi" campaign. Other brands like Mountain Dew and Sierra Mist are also being considered for the big game. A prospective spot for Mountain Dew energy drink AMP cwas directed by Dante Ariola of bicoastal/international MJZ. [Agency: BBDO, New York]

Taco Bell - Promote Carne Asada Steak Grilled Taquitos with a spot where two lions watch campers at the Serengeti eating Taco Bell and discuss how to properly pronounce "Carne Asada". One lion can't get the rolling of the r's and the other tells him to "Say it sexy like Ricardo Montalban" and get a lesson in rolling their R's when voice over announcer Ricardo Montalban chimes in. They are also running an online promotion at Carne Asada Improv where you can view three other spots, "Teeth", "Serengeti", and "Or the Guy" featuring the lions. GM/Chevrolet - one Cadillac spot and (:60) corporate ad touting the company's 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty titled "Robot" in which a manufacturing line robot drops a screw, which causes the line to be shut down. In the end he is dismissed and reduced to holding sale signs advertising condos and a drive-through microphone box, while "All by Myself" plays. With a twist ending and the ad ends with the voiceover promoting GM's 100,000-mile warranty, where "everyone at GM is obsessed with quality." This spot was directed by Phil Joanou of MJZ for Deutsch. Walt Disney Co - 2 Movie Ads - One spot for 'Meet the Robinsons,' a Disney-created computer-generated animation family film. The other is for 'Wild Hogs,' a comedy with John Travolta, William H. Macy, Martin Lawrence and Tim Allen. [Agency: In-house]

Footlocker/adidas - Two guys hang out at the mall, one has just purchased NBA star Kevin Garnett's brand of shoes. Garnett happens to walk by and autographs the shoes and one guy's head (played by Ryan Woodle). The spot was directed by Ted Pauly via production house Furlined, Santa Monica. (more info here).
