Braun ad with a "different" statement

Flipping through In Style I came across this ad for the Braun Activator. After reading the copy, I'm curious about their target audience.

So am I right in thinking that women who give their men Braun shavers are wishing they could get with another fella? Definitely a strange concept- especially for an electric shaver. Maybe they are playing off the Desperate Housewives hoopla.

Since I never shave I would be really suspicious if my wife gave me a Braun. And I think the women are better of to kiss another fella than put money in the shaverbiz...
