FlyMe use suitcases as ad media
Posted by dabitch on 6. February 2007 - 10:44
Airports are full of ads, even the security checkpoint trays have them, and now FlyMe the budget airline wants to grab peoples attention and alert them to their new flights to sunny destinations by advertising.. on suitcases.

My first thought was, good thing this isn't Boston MA, since that'll probably bring up another bomb scare.
"We're using an enterily new media-channel, I guess you could say, to have our message on large suitcases feel apropriate for an airline" says Mats Jacobsson, commercial director at FlyMe.

And if they pick the right airline, that's more 'mindshare' with the brand as they wait for their delayed flight.
