Hombre Magazine double page sticky spreads - Argentina print ads

Oh look, a clever use of glue to make a point. These ads reminded me - ironically perhaps - of the POWA (People Opposing Women Abuse) rape ads from Lowe Bull in 2003* only because of the glue. See what the ads looks like folded out inside (I bet you can guess what the funny is already though...)

Agency: Leo Burnett, Buenos Aires
Creative Director: Pablo Capara / Sebastian Olivieri
Copywriter: Carolina Mendez
Art Director: Diego Salas

also reminded me of my favorite geek joke - for Swedes only: Vad är det som klibbar ihop sidorna i matteboken? -Pythagoras sats! Yes, this is why I have no friends.

Feels like the oldest trick in the book but probably is as disgusting as it should be to get to their target group.

Yes, very obvious first idea. I've had this idea and thrown in it the bin. Now I wish I had done it as I would have had hotter models.

Just one correction: I believe they're not Brazil print ads, but ARGENTINA print ads (Buenos Aires).

Gosh you're right, it was late and I'm terrible at geography. Fixed. (embarrasing when it's even the capital - like when people confuse Oslo and Stockholm..Argh!)

The Hombre Magazine ads: 13 to 16 years old male range? (I'm talking about the creators)

Pretty funny, in a naive sort of way.

I have seen it before though. Twice. And that's in Holland alone. There must be dozens of these ads worldwide...

If you can squirrel away some scans for me we can badland the whole bunch of them! Awesome. :)
