The Pee Analyser - RFID keys at valet & alco-testing urinals from Singapore

"The Pee Analyzer" from DDB Group Singapore remind me of the McFarland Beer Pissalyzer , which might not have been as hight tech, but it was telling people to cab it in May 2011.

Still, DDB Group went so far as to connect the pee-er to the RFID car key-tag, and measured the alcohol content in the urine at the urinals. When someone who tested as "too tipsy; should taxi" arrived at the valet to get their car, the RFID tag would remember and flash red: this person should use a car service.
This piss test was so successful in preventing drunk driving that the system now rolls out in bars and clubs all over Singapore.

Crisis Relief Singapore - Liking ins't helping / Flood / War / Earthquake

"Liking isn' helping" yells this grunge font that seems straight from the 90s. The realistic images show a young girl stranded in a floodzone, surrounded by thumbs up, a child amputee with thumbs up and a young war victim dying, also cheered on by thumbs.

Sarcasm in PSA's. Interesting.

Awarded in Cannes! Someone liked it enough to hand it a Gold Lion. Woop!

Dallas Restaurant & Bar: Baby's Arse / print, Singapore

Supposedly someone at Dallas.sg the high falutin' restaurant for family parties and great big diners signed off on this double entendre, if you want to believe that. Yep, if you're so hungry you could eat a baby's arse through the bars of a cot, you should "try ours instead".

You know this would have worked had it been a restaurant and brothel.

Harry's Bar - QR code bar messaging / Happy hour - (2012)

Harry's bar wanted to push beer sales during Happy Hour, and push shy Singaporians to meet new friends, making Harry's bar more social at the same time. Enter the QR code. Harry's "bottle message" make a message on a bottle. Buy a beer, scan the QR code on it and type in the message you want to send to the other person. Then buy another beer, put the QR code on there and send it to the person you wish to talk to. When they scan the QR code a chat opens between the two of you... and the bar just sold you two beers. Win!

In other QR code news today, we've found safetat will QR code your kid because writing a telephone number on their arm just doesn't cut it anymore. SMH.

Faber Castell - Munch's "The scream" & Van Gogh’s "Terrace Cafe at Night" recreated

Here's somethig that's a lot more complicated than the rather nifty framed Crayola monogram in @adland's image feed - Faber Castell created "the scream" in cut bits of colorful Faber Castell's.
