The abuser is often charming, loving, abuse is gradual, and like the proverbial frog the abused will stay while the water begins to boil around them.

Johnston and Murphy has revamped its women's collection for Fall 2014. And for the very first time, they're running an ad that features a woman only, which will appear in Marie Claire. I wonder why they waited so long? Maybe they like to showcase his and hers at once?

Fiat Smells Minty Fresh

To introduce Fiats 2014 500 range and new colors, UK agency Maxus ran Metro London's first ever scented ad. Eau de New Car is a tongue and cheek ad featuring a mint-colored Fiat. When you rub the ink on the ad, it smells like mint. Car as fashion.

Aigle FW 2014: It's wild out there

Aigle, a 161 year old clothing brand, has just come out with its newest campaign for Fall WInter, 2014. This new line is more fashion oriented and the tone is a bit cheeky. No doubt the weekend warriors, after hours athletes, and beard totin' plaid-wearin' fixed gear ridin' dudes in general will respond well to it.

Jung Von Matt/Limmat create more shoe faces for Max

Swiss shoe brand Max once again promotes its shoes in an anthropomorphic way. The campaign which started in spring of this year, now highlights the fall/winter collection.

Agency 358 updates Arla milk's packaging.

Finnish milk brand Arla started selling exclusively local milk. To reflect this, Agency 358 redesigned their packaging. Featuring water color illustrations, each color represents a different type of milk-- low-fat, probiotic, non-lactose, etc. Very pretty stuff. I imagine they really pop on the shelf.

Spec Student ad: Smartwater

Graphic designer and recent Tyler School of Art grad Max Amato created these print ads for Smartwater. When I was in portfolio school I had a teacher who used to say "Visual solutions rarely solve anything." And while I don't entirely agree, I think it's hard to sustain a really big idea with them. In this case, these ads do come across as see say.
