I built this website. From scratch. Including the servers.
At the other end sits a venerable Czech brew that has been called "Budweiser" throughout Europe since the 13th century, but must be called "Czechvar" in the U.S., due to pressure from its richer (but blander) cousin from St. Louis.
Wanna bet that journalist loved getting "richer (but blander)" in there? ;)
Yeah this "birdseye choreography into stuff" thing has been a huge trend 05/06 - add this turkish bank ad to the suspects and we can cook us a Badland stew.
It's spam. Sorry for not managing to delete the crap fast enough. He's running some script on the site that leaves a comment every 30 minutes with all his purdy blogspot.com pages named after pharma drugs linked (he seems to have thousands of them). Each comment comes from a different IP and I haven't been able to figure out how to block the fucker without setting out booby-traps that may affect legit adgrunts yet.spam sucks, I don't have time for this crap.
I think it works. Not all too familiar with these toons, but I get it - imaginary friends, creating a buzz by preaching to the converted (really, it is lets admit it) but at the same time raising enough curiosity out of those who don't know what it is about to have people talk about it. This doesn't always work - in this case I think it does and is appropriate.
Exactly!
Some collegues are hinting that my nursing hormone levels are making me judge these ideas extra hashly. I'm not so sure. I really think the bin trick would be quite clever if it advertised adoption or that they were looking for volenteers at a city community thingie, where the human concern shown by the punter who opens the lid is rewarded with a "you're just the kind of big hearted person we are looking for" rather than this crass commercial message about some product we have no idea if this punter wants needs or even is in the target group for. (The Pill is taken by women, right?)
