I built this website. From scratch. Including the servers.
"...without a brand in a world where you are defined by the brands you sport and the companies you support" - isn't that exactly the point though? Instead of buying expensive sneakers that may (or may not) have been created by child-laborers, you support the all-vegan family-owned, union-wage and rights created sneaker of Black Spot. It is a brand statement.
Researcher took screendumps of the stock photo girl and collected them all here.
Nope, it wasn't a myth and no, it did not run in the states and wasn't some badly translated "marketing mistake" as many people claim... Here's the legendary cheeky British "nothing sucks" ad, thanks Alex!
sorry, poor photocopy - the image shows that Electrolux is the reason the leaning tower of Pisa, leans...
just a thought.. is the new blogversations part of the ad creep phenomena...? In a way?
1) We match advertisers with bloggers
2) Advertisers propose a topic or question (not an advertorial)
3) Bloggers accept or reject the proposal
4) If they accept, bloggers discuss the topic or question, and link to the discussion on their blog's front page
5) Advertisers truly engage audiences without doing evil; bloggers get paid for doing what they do best - blogging!
So you log on for your daily dose of EverlastingBlortKottke or Wendellwit and they're all talking about...say, the new iPod ready BMW..... How would you feel about that? (not much different from today perhaps...but...Well, what do you think about it?)
Related - how to catch that elusive market whilst online.
Well, Blogversations promises to engage the 18-34 market with blog-conversations on popular related blogs. Blogads is similar - "Blogads stir opinion makers. You need to woo the early adopters that traditional media can't reach. You need to impress 100,000 opinion makers with a colorful pitch, not pester 100,000,000 nobodies with a soulless textad or banner."
Dagens Nyheter reported today that the cow has been slaughtered. On Monday the Cow Parade project people received cow-bits in a bag..... The rest of Dagens Nyheters article sounds like a press release for Cow Parade itself, so apparantly, no clues on whoddunit...
