  • The ads I've seen for Volvo in Mexico are lean toward being a cool performance rig. Based on the ones I've seen on the autopistas there's truth in the advertising. They seems to really like taking the curvy mountain roads at a high rate of speed. LL Cool J doesn't really have true "street cred" anymore. He's been considered a safe endorser for quite some time.

  • And I thought that Molsen (or is it Labbats) that use a bear as its mascot. Since when did bears become experts on drinks?

  • Since PayPal is a quasi-bank [although they deny it], you should file complaints with the banking and consumer affairs departments in Denmark and the EU. Although it might take time, PayPal won't want to risk being able to do business with Danish banks (or even better all EU banks) due to its behaviour. From what I've read on paypalsucks.com, PayPal seems to respond only to suits actually brought against them. Freezing assets for a AUP violation (even though it really isn't) is wrong. There's no grounds for it. I can see freezing $ when there fraud might be involved but if it really thinks your site has stuff they don't to be associated with, it should close your account and give your money back.

  • I forgot what the ad looked like to find the offensive material... The third link from Google brought me to this: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/solissf/nasodaadba.html I hope you can get any $ PayPal owes you back and you can find another way to collect money from us adgrunts. I for one, will pay more [not too much more, I'm unemployed] and in a foreign currency if there's a better solution out there.

  • (Running with the iPod: Everyone says that but i run with mine all the time and its no worse for the wear. Hard drives can deal with the vibration from running but it can't handle the sharp impacts you get if you drop it. ) Isn't it kinda ironic? Apple went back and revised a spot that talks of "1984" Winston Smith did a double plus good job revising history: Apple has always had the iPod. I just hope BB doesn't find the original on here.

  • I thought VCRs were going to kill commercials years ago? I had a PVR through the cable company and still found myself sitting through commercials. Only when an ad was obscenely bad would I remember I could ff through it. Although PVRs are easier to use than VCRs, I still think most people will watch the higher rated shows 'live' when they are originally broadcast.
