Searching for Toyota, Sprite ads and more - help! Davez62119 years 5 weeks ago
  • I know, but seeing as its a Ford ad, wouldn't Ford be wanting to also take the opportunity to show off its new Crown Vics, rather than old rusty ones? Here in Australia it is unusual to see any police, taxi etc. vehicle older than 5 years. They quickly retire them from service once they reach a certain age/mileage and thats usually about 4-6 years. A '97 Crown Vic (or earlier) would now be well over 8 years old.

  • Why does the cop have a Canadian accent? Are pre-'98 Crown Victorias really still in service anywhere anymore?! Why would there be a traffic light on a rural road in the middle of nowhere? Wouldn't be worth the expense.

  • Why hasn*t this been upped to the site yet? Does anyone have it? I know it can be viewed on the GM website but I want to save it. Please contact me!

  • Hi, I*m after a few ads and I was wondering if anyone could help me. The first is a Toyota ad from late 1999, which was for some kind of Camry clearance. It was sort of done in a *movie trailer* style, with fast-faced music and *credits* at the end of the ad. Another Toyota ad I*m after is from circa 1992 (?) , which includes several of the new models like the 4-runner, camry, which form of a sort of semi-circle, like a clock. Its shot from an overhead view. I can*t really explain it. It uses the phrase "I love what you do for me". The sprite ad I*m after is from the mid 90s , dont know the exact year. It shows some black guys filming an ad, and during the break one of them says in a British accent "Excuse me, *I* played Hamlet at Cambridge!" Thanks!
