Mammikka from Vennakadu, Kerala, is a daily wage worker who was approached by an ad agency to do a photoshoot. He was photographed by Shareek Vayalil, who first uploaded the photos from the shoot on his Instagram page.
The transformation soon went viral and was reshared thousands of times, positioning the 60-year old in a spot of having the potential of a completely different career. For his friends in Vennakad in Kozhikode, Mammika is an ordinary laborer who wears a faded shirt and buys his fish and veggies at the market just like everyone else before heading home, not a fancy guy at all, but his model transformation made everyone look at him quite differently.
