I wrote about this a long time ago, and although I like the ad, I still question:

He's drinking cans labeled BITTER BEER! And it's in every ad, even the newer two. I don't know if they do it on purpose... it's really kind of nonsensical. I don't see how a Bitter Beer Face saves you from getting fired for calling your boss' daughter a freakshow.

Bizzare... neat transformation effects. But bizzare. That girl came out of nowhere! Poor kid, he just lost about 10-15 years of his life. Don't know if a piece of candy's worth that.

Oh, and by the way, it's "Laffy Taffy", not "Laffy Taggy". Typo?

Well... yeah, of course it's disturbing. That's what kind of what makes it appealing. It'd be boring if he just... finished the drink.

One of the best Superbowl ads ever, hands down. Complicated ("disturbing", "grusome"?) effects; simple message.

Haha, I actually like that ad! I mean, "Hairy Potter" is wonderfully overused, but still it's creative. I wonder if J. K. approved of that or not. It's not surprising that films boost tourism. They pick some of the most exotic and exciting landscapes that appeal to the eye. Harry had Scotland... Narnia and Lord of the Rings had New Zealand. Not only that, I suppose that sense of 'adventure' in the films translates to audiences, saying "this place will show you experiences you've never had before!" Die hard fans are always going on tours of locations from movies and books. There are Harry Potter and Da Vinci tours that happen yearly. I guess the tourism industry over there has noticed.

Oh, tags! I can bring to mind a few places where I've seen them available, but for some reason I don't really enjoy using them. However, I think it's a pretty cool idea for this area. I've had hard times searching for certain commercials in the past that weren't under words I thought they should be under. Well, if I happen to get upgraded, I think I might just try this tag system! And if not, I'll see what I can find that I couldn't before! : D

Oh, phooey! Really, I never had a chance from the beginning. Interesting quiz though. Darn and darn it again. : )

There's more! I recently saw a commercial for the Shrek edition of...Operation! Now that's going a little over the top, wouldn't you say?

Remember that city where the weather forecast is always hot? How
about the single guy who lives there with his dog, and their attempts to
get some cool air? Well, they're back again, as Sierra Mist returns to the
land of ads, but it's looking oddly familiar...
When I first saw this ad, it reminded me of that 1995 Pepsi ad where
a young boy sucks on his straw so hard that the force sucks him into the
bottle. It's very possible that this is where the ad's basis came from,
seeing as Sierra Mist is a well known Pepsi product.
Overall, this ad was not to my liking. Most of the other Sierra Mist
commercials could top this one, especially the one with the monkeys
seeking a cool off. I'm wondering if Pepsi are running out of ideas to
cool off.
