Going back to ancient Egypt, the Hungarian production company Digic Pictures shows us a wealth of images which clue us in to the coming gameplay.
Unexpected trivia: Ubisoft is from Montreal, and so is Leonard Cohen who is responsible for the song soundtrack in this ad. Some transitions, such as the pyramids being built and then we find they're a 3D model on Cleopatras table are really quite nice. Our mystery hero is on a mission to assassinate the man in the black mask. When they do eventually meet, our assassin is injured but somehow manages to kill his opponent by shooting a bow & arrow with his feet. Okay, that's pretty bad-ass. Somehow this ad just feels like it's preaching to the converted, the people who played all other Assassins creed. The trailers are always quite good looking but cinematic trailers aren't gameplay.
