Barnes and Noble "You'll never know who you'll meet" (2015) 1:01 (USA)

Last year Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett went shopping at H&M Now they're singing through a bookstore. Isn't it grand to live in their world? Especially where they sing "Baby, it's cold outside," a perennial Christmas favorite. The kids think it's a rape song, don't you know, because everything must have a hidden meaning these days. Although I have to say, the song came out in 1944, so I'm thinking if it had such a nefarious intent, it probably wouldn't have taken us 70 plus years to figure that out. As for me, I'm trying to figure out why Lady Gaga is walking in high heels like she's never worn them before. Also, they still have Barnes & Noble stores? Good to know.

I can not stand the shots of Gagas "my toes point at each other when I walk" shoes, done both in this ad and in the H&M ad last year. The exaggerated movements done by Gaga (or is this a persona? The Dutchess?) in both this ad and last years are bearable in the long edit, but when cut down to the 20 & 30 you see on TV they become gratingly annoying.
