Beating the crap out of tutor with sticks wins Dubai advertising award

Melody channel TV & Leo Burnett Cairo won Gold at the Dubai awards with the commercial where punchline is that some bored kids and a yellow-clad 'superhero' pummel their tedious teacher. You have to see it to believe it, it's inside.

In the print category a seriously geeky ad for Oil of Olay from Saatchi&Saatchi Dubai took home the gold. Even nerdy ladies care about wrinkles.

JWT Cairo took home the outdoor gold with this seriously cute idea, these are actual bushes cut into the shape of teacups as ambient media in a park somewhere in Cairo, complete with the Lipton tea-bag tag hanging out.

Now, for a visit to the Melody anti-boredom ads, super adgrunts can view Private lessons and the Hulk in the archive. I must confess, I don't get it.
