Before Black Friday, there's throwaway Thursday.

Adland:

If you're in Canada then you'll need to make room for all your incredible Black Friday shopping deals at Ivanhoé Cambridge's shopping centers. So what will you do with all your old stuff?

John St. has created Throwaway Thursdays to answer just such a problem. Participating shopping centers across Quebec, Ontario and Nova Scotia have "Throwaway Bags," in their stores, for customers to donate clothes You then take your bag to the shopping mall's "guest services" area, where they'll be put to good use for those in need.

And the first 200 people who do so will receive a free gift card. Win-win for all.
