Movers: Chad Garber joins Massmarket, and Tendril joins Blacklist

On the left we have Tendril in Toronto, Canada, the director-driven workshop where designers and artists from diverse backgrounds craft visual experiences. They just joined the Blacklist family.

“We're delighted that Tendril had decided to join the Blacklist family,” says Andrew Linsk, Executive Producer, Blacklist. “They're an amazingly talented group of folks, and are quite perfect for capturing many of the high end design driven projects that we see on a regular basis. Also, because Tendril is based in Toronto, they are very accessible for agency collaboration in either New York or LA.”

Launched in 2010 by Brazilian-Canadian directorial team Chris Bahry and Alexandre Torres, Tendril has grown into a full-service visual design and animation studio which thrives on bringing a project to life from the initial concept through to design, execution and delivery. With a thirst for high production value honed by years working for a wide range of international client and their own program of experimental works, Tendril are equally comfortable behind a camera directing live action as they are hunched over their sketchbooks, designing, writing, or delving into complex 3D graphics or visual effects.

Tendril has worked on notable projects for Nike, Bluecross Blue-Shield, Adidas , Coke, Samsung, Hershey’s, Warner Bros.,The Discovery Channel, Japan Railways, National Geographic Channel, CBC, , Bell Canada and WWWF. Since joining Blacklist, Tendril has completed campaigns for the US market for US Cellular, via Riney, and Comcast via The Martin Agency.

On the right we have Chad Garber who just joined MassMarket as their Senior VFX Producer. Garber comes to MassMarket with over a decade of experience, most recently as a Producer at mcgarrybowen where he produced VFX intensive jobs including Verizon "Droid Bionic" with Noam Murro and Verizon "Motorola Xoom" with Rory Kelleher, among others. Prior to mcgarrybowen, Garber worked for The Martin Agency producing commercials and campaigns for Walmart; and for BBDO/ NY and BBDO WEST/SF, where he produced and assisted on work for top clients including the "It" campaign for eBay with Fredrik Bond, FedEx with director Jim Jenkins and the YLI "Awareness" campaign.
