REMA 1000's tagline, "Simple is often better." was created 15 years ago. When McCann Oslo won the campaign this year they brought the tagline back-- with great results. In this touching spot, we find a brother trying to figure out a way to mend fences after what is a presumably a long standing rift between his other brother. His grand daughter keeps pushing him to just say "I'm sorry," and keep it simple. In the end he drives to the brother's house, and with a look that says despite his exterior he's been silently carrying the weight of this rift on his shoulders for years if not decades, patches everything up with a simple, heartfelt God Jul, or Merry Christmas.
