It's an Amsterdamned shame, but the Publicis office in this Netherlands city recently trimmed seven creatives.
Seven - out of 10! (Not counting the Creative Directors)
Two were scalped last month, three Monday and two on Tuesday.
The cuts are the Creative Directors reaction to the loss of Renault, Capacity, and a teetering third major account - though rumor has it that the loss of Renault was the CD's own fault for not listening to the advice from the senior creatives he just fired and instead of letting a student team from Miami ad school try to handle it.
Renault was annoyed at never getting what they asked for and walked.
With only one full team remaining, the shop is left to creatively split hairs. Ouch!
