Thai ads turn me into a puddle of sobs, or a puddle of laughter. This is the sob variety, bring kleenex, which Ogilvy & Mather Bangkok now owe me a shipment of.
The teenage daughter is ashamed, and bullied, about her mute father. She wants a "normal" dad, one that understands her, one that can hear her shout. If this ad doesn't make you cry a little, you've worked far too long in advertising and need a vacation.

I cried like a baby :(
That's OK, so did I. The way of telling the story, where the fathers signing isn't translated until in replay of events makes you see his side with such a heavy dose of emotional impact you can't really help it, can you?
can you help me find English subtitle of this movie to be downloaded? :)
If you were a super adgrunt here you could download this one like so. There might be a copy on youtube where you could grab the flash.
