When you want to make a point in an ad, you exaggerate it. Take it over the top, like a cartoon. Go BIG or go home. But in this ad's case, they may have gone a little too far, as far as real downhill skiers are concerned.
Matt Lorelli at (ski and snow play obsessed) UnofficialNetworks.com describes the crowded scene as nightmare fuel.
Are we supposed to enjoy the thought of the slopes being so crowded that you can’t even make a turn without close-lining a little girl learning how to pizza?!
I know some of these words! Not in that order, though, and as an avid cross-country skier who hasn't gone downhill since I literally broke my skis in half when attempting a jump three decades ago, the image of a crowded slope doesn't put me off as I won't be on that slope anyway. It's just an advert, it's just exaggerated for effect, but I get it, it doesn't look fun at all.
