Happy Birthday "Einstürzende Neubauten", watch Blixa read the Hornbach catalogue

It's Einstürzende Neubauten's 30th birthday! To celebrate, we've dusted off the famous Hornbach campaign from 2005, where Blixa reads the catalogue. It won two German Art Director’s Club Gold awards and a Cannes Lion to whistles and applause, even Paul Arden adored them:

"Those films are uncommercials. And a great example of what’s possible"

Blixa Bargeld reading Hornbach is poetry, it's punk, it's a high and lowbrow meeting and above all, it's entertaining as hell. It also dragged youth into the Hornbach shops by the droves, so hey, it sold too. Directed by Hermann Vaske, who also wrote Standing on the shoulders of giants, where he interviewed Paul Arden, Tim Mellors and many more creative minds. There have been similar ideas, for example in Sweden Björn Ranelid read from the Claes-Ohlsson catalogue a year later, but nothing quite like this before or since. Enjoy!
