Is selling your ideas a good idea?

OpenAd.net says: Sell your ideas! And somehow, Joakim Jonasson and Herman Vaske are involved in all this.
9 out of 10 ideas in advertising and design are never published. Capitalize on your dormant assets and sell your ideas. So what's the deal? The deal is you can currently pitch on cars - any car of your choice - and the winner gets 8000 Euros. They spent some serious brainpower on the copyright issues, if you feel comfortable with that, go right ahead, upload your dormant ideas and they will be available to clients in 2005.

Adland® is supported by your donations alone. You can help us out by buying us a Ko-Fi coffee.

Somewhat similar is the idea of Interesting.org where one can login and put up some ideas on different topics that the siteowners is getting from different biz-comp's.

Heheh, it's tempting. Especially when I look at the loads of spec, unsold and orphaned ideas, concepts and comps taking up space around here.

I can see it now, leaving the baby nestled in a basket on their doorstep with a note pinned to its blanket... " My client will not let me keep this concept and I am unable to properly care for it. Please find a home for it... someone to love my idea and nurure it to adulthood..."

Well, I have a few rejected (but darn good) campaigns here that died the foam-core death due to lack of budget or somesuch. If that site stops crashing my browser I'll upload one or two and see how it goes. (Don't use Mozilla on the site - try Exploder or Safari)

I need to add a stupid-filter to the spam-filter here.

clue-by-four, this post was written 23. June 2004 - Openad was set to open for business in 2005. It's now 2011.
