Using a character fifteen-year old film to promote a luxury car that will make you rethink luxury is already a strange premise. Having that character break into opera midway through the spot isn’t luxury so much as a hot mess of WTFness.

"Remember when only dad could save the day?" Frankly, no. And I think there will be a knee-jerk reaction to that line from a lot of people. But that's the fault of the line, not the concept. The line is trying to be cutesy.
