This caused quite a stir at the time as she flashes her red lingerie set at the end, which had conservative people upset and garnered a lot of press and earned media. Madonna was at the top of her sexy game this year, with her video "Justify my Love" being banned from MTV during certain hours, and on her way to create a sex book. The flag-flashing was just a peek of things to come. No pun intended.
