Kasteelbier - France / Wealth is all around (2023) :60 (Belgium)

The Kasteelbier beer brand, one of Belgium's founding specialty beers, has enjoyed global success since its commercial launch in 1991.

Despite receiving daily messages from fans around the world, the brand has been without a media or campaign presence for years. In collaboration with film director and photographer Jef Boes, Geronimo embarked on a production trip to six of Kasteel's biggest export countries to capture the cultural significance of their beer. Through local street casting, the resulting stories depict a typical day in the life of a local resident, culminating in a moment of reflection on true wealth, accompanied by a Belgian Kasteel beer rather than a nationally established beverage. The trip took the team to Tarascon (France), Wyoming (USA), Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Jerusalem (Israel), Cork (Ireland), and pre-war Russia. Even in Saint Petersburg, where opposition to the country's war was openly expressed, the campaign film captured the true cultural heritage of Russia. The moments of true wealth in each country were portrayed in 60”, 30”, 15” and 7” films, with photographic portraits by Jef Boes and soundtracks by Peter Baert and his award-winning sound studio Raygun Brussels.
