Stardust’s Santa Monica-based design director Brad Tucker has directed a set of five :20 High-Definition in-store spots for Target. Using colorful, high contrast, detail-rich imagery lensed by renowned cinematographer Stefan
Czapsky, the spots were captured on 35mm film and completed in 2K resolution to run on HD displays in Target stores
nationwide. Showcasing the high-resolution picture quality and sharpness of HDTVs, the ads will continue to air via Target’s in-house Channel Red over the weeks ahead.
Along with Tucker and line producer Rich Kaylor, Stardust’s team also included editor Tony Hall and post-producer Lisa Pierce. For Target’s Channel Red, credits go to creative manager Jason Langer, art director Karl Wolf, copywriter
Travis Robertson and producer Chris Phillips. Stefan Sonnenfeld at Company 3 served as the project’s colorist.
Music, sound design and final mix credits go to executive producer Michael Frick, composer/mixer Stephan Altman, sound
designer Mathew Kratz at bicoastal music and sound design company Mophonics.
