When my daughter was born I made her a t-shirt that had her name on it, and myself a T-shirt that read "Mother of Perl" because pun. Soon I grew accustomed to being "MotherofPerl" to every child in the neighbourhood, while other adults knew my name. But in Egypt, it's different. Mothers don't have a name. They're literally "Mother of (first sons name)", to everyone, not just small children. Impact BDDO ad Un Women wanted to change this with the #MyMothersNameIs social campaign. Ad agency: Impact Bbdo
