Budweiser - A Hero's Welcome - (2014) :60 (USA)

Budweiser love their long-running campaigns. If it's not Clydesdales, it's the soldier-homecoming. In "A Hero's Welcome" they helped make one soldier's homecoming unforgettable, by throwing him a ticker-tape parade and had the whole town out to greet him. His girl with the perfect smile picks him up at the airport, he picks her up for a great big hug. As they drive to town signs of what to come appear... While all of this is lovely, his mom doesn't get to hug him until the end of the parade which made me exclaim: what the hell, Budweiser? Seriously? Mom is the last person to get a hug?

She's clearly clued in to this homecoming, she might even have helped set up the parade for all I know, maybe it's the editing. It just grated me.
