Pepsi 1893 "Soda Sommelier" (2016) :30 (USA)

Pepsi got quite funny here in this well shot spot for its new Pepsi 1893, made with real sugar and real kola but extract and bitters, (as opposed to caramel coloring and chemicals. There's also a ginger version featuring real ginger. I guess Pepsi's losing market share to all those sodas made with real ingredients like HiBall Energy and Fentiman's so they might as well get in on the action.
The spot features Love and Mercy/Buried Treasure's Jeff Galfer. In it, he plays a soda sommelier who teaches people who to properly taste the soda. But of course it's so good, he has can't help himself and goes from one sip to downing the whole thing. Client – Pepsico
