Quirky upcycled propaganda posters from Engine tell Londoners to stay home

So many campaigns have been launched to encourage people to stay home during lockdown, and like the upcycled propaganda posters we spoke about previously, these too have revamped older imagery. Globally it seems like everyone has war posters on their minds when it comes to this, an illustrator in Sweden updated "a Swedish tiger" and got the army museum slapping them for copyright infringement.

These non-profit posters appear on digital screen around London in lieu of other ads right now. "Careless hookups costs lives" takes on a new meaning in these Tinder times. "Only dorks meet for walks" and "soap is hope" say these quirky posters.

Naturally, the most copied propaganda poster in the world, Kitchener’s "Your country needs you" is here as well, except now he wants you to sit on the sofa. Go on then.
