1980s car stunts - boxy but nimble! SAAB suites ballet with 9000 vs Isuzu Gemini stunts

Perhaps it all began in 1979, when fiats Strada was the star of the "handbuilt by robots" ad, at the very end the cars dance along toward the sunset, maybe it was started by something else but by the mid-eighties the trend with car stunts in ads was in full bloom.

Here's a Japanese Izusu Gemini ad medley where someone edited together 3 min 36 sec worth of the 80s ads to a cheesy dance song. (Karaja - She Moves (La La La) Oscar Salguero Club Edit). The stunts might be twenty years old but they are still amazing! LOOK AT THOSE CARS FLY!

Another blast from the past has appeared, straight from the vaults of the SAAB PR department in Nyköping 1988 is the Saab suite, 8 min 39 sec worth of ballet with SAAB 9000 turbos done by the Saab Performance Team.

An absolute masterclass in stunt driving!
