The Father Bob Maguire Foundation - Eat Garbage - Ambient

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne says:

For Melbourne’s homeless, life is a struggle; it’s the little things like getting a decent meal that can be the most challenging. Clemenger BBDO Melbourne's task was to raise awareness for Father Bob’s Foundation and their service of providing food for the homeless. Our solution was to create three ambient stickers; A knife, a fork and a call to action. The stickers were strategically placed on bin tops around the city. The knife and fork sat either side of the bin opening to give the impression that the hole was a plate. The stickers proved quite confronting and forced people to recognise that the homeless need their help.

Anti Drinking and Driving PSA campaign from Saatchi & Saatchi Port of Spain

Yes! The headline rhymed! I am easily amused today.

Port of Spain, so exotic to me, has the same problems as everyone else, like drunk driving. Here's a PSA campaign showing off Saatchi&Saatchi's skill - created by Chris Guinness (AD & CW) and Creative Director Jon Slater.

There's also a TV spot from the campaign here.

Jenna Jameson pushes pleather dressed as Bettie Page in PETA ad

Yep, we already told you that PETA pushes pleather with Jenna Jameson and now we have the ad where Jenna does her best Bettie Page impression. It would look a hell of a lot better if they had gotten a wig from anywhere but the dollar store. I've had barbies with better hair.

WWF - Hot water cup - (2007) Guerilla

Campaign objective/ creative brief:
WWF wanted a simple ‘take-away’ to make an impression at the important United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bali last December. Made with a special ceramic coating, as a hot beverage was poured in, the graphic of the world’s land mass vanished under the rising sea, symbolically showing the effects climate change may soon have if action isn’t taken. Fortunately action was taken in Bali. During the event, where 250 of these cups were given out to the most influential attendees, Dutch Environmental Minister Jacqueline Cramer said, “the WWF cup dramatically captured the critical nature of the global warming issue.”

ASH - Smoking kills more than terrorism - (2008) Poster (New Zealand)

To drive home the point of how many actually die from smoking, ASH and DDB New Zealand compare the cancersticks to the twin towers. I have a weird feeling that I've seen this before.
