Whoah, this is tablet-game brought to life. Remember those special pens and toy cars you could get at toy stores, where if you drew a line the car would follow the line? This is like that but with a real car, formula 1 driver Jarno Trulli, a huge hangar of space, and special game areas where you had to pick up bonus points along the way. Passengers designed a race-track in real-time on a touch tablet, and Jarno Trulli would drive the road drawn. Fast. Points would be detracted for any sliding outside the lines and failure to pick up bonus-packs.
Move over "Charlie bit my finger" here comes "Charlie the hamster chases the carrot and steers a 15-ton truck up a dangerous road" - which I admit doesn't quite roll off the tongue. It's got it all though, the drama, the suspense, the animal trainer, the adorable hamster. All this just to show off Volvos confidence in its dynamic steering the trucks come equipped with.
Well done, Volvo. The truck category will never quite be the same again.
WWF Canada brings us an übercute animation of farm and woodland animals being dragged away by giant nets, destroying forests and anything else along the way in the process. The moral of the story of course is that this isn't how we get land-animals to our plates, so we shouldn't be doing it to the sea either.
In what we may call "prankvertising", LG sets a bunch of job applicants up for being fooled by a really large TV. They enter the job interview room where there seems to be a window behind the interviewers desk. It's a TV, and it's paused on a key scene in the movie Armageddon.
Ford Portugal is the official sponsor of the UEFA Champions League. They are bringing the final game to Lisbon next year. Instead of just celebrating the sponsorship, they turned it into a fun "search for the next champion" challenge.
They placed the cup in a busy part of the city to see if anyone could lift it Excalibur-style. But not just anyone could lift it. Only kids could, thanks to some electromagnetic controls.
One tends to be suspicious of such case studies as being fabricated, but the scared look on some of the kids at the end shows the authenticity of the stunt.
Thanks to the Sony PS VITA you can "Take Your Playstation World With You," and ignore the outside world of cows car trips, nature and family. Sold!
Hullo. I'm beginning to sense a campaign here with Blinkbox's stunts. It doesn't matter if the witnesses to the stunts don't know the sender, because the earned media will tell all the web-witnesses it's for Blinkbox (hopefully). First there was the Dorset dragon, now there's the Star Trek Teleportation in a mall.
