Doja Cat recreates "Grease" song "You're the one that I want" for Pepsi

Doja Cat recreates "Grease" song "You're the one that I want" for Pepsi

Remember Rydell high school and wholesome student Olivia Newton-John as Sandy, who pined the entire movie for bad-boy Danny, played by John Travolta?  Well, Doja-Cat has decided to update the iconic due and the famous switch from good girl to bad in this nostalgic Pepsi spot.

The 90-second commercial will debut Sunday during the MTV Video Music Awards, which Doja Cat happens to be hosting.

Her "bad girl" ensemble is suitably black and leathered up, but with extra Pepsi bling, including her manicure and sunglasses. It's automatic, it's systematic, it's hydromatic, it's Pepsi lightning.

The bad boy in this remake is Noah Steinbuch, playing Danny, but as he's stalked by our Doja Cat Sandy, she changed the lyrics a little. Instead of the famous "I need a man" line, she sings that she needs a plan, and that's when you know there will be a rug-pull at the end. It may have been obvious, but it's still quite fun.
