'Puberty is not a medical condition' billboard appears in Los Angeles

A stones throw from West Hollywood, at La Cienega and Rosewood in Los Angeles, this billboard asserts that "puberty is not a medical condition." The billboard will remain in this spot for a month.

The billboard touts Abigail Shrier's book: Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters with the cover on the right. The rest of the copy reads:  "Your child is learning about gender identity in school. Puberty is not a medical condition. Get the facts. Read this book."

The billboard was privately funded by a concerned local father, whose daughter has been caught up in what he calls the transgender ideology. He wants to remain anonymous, as going against the current zeitgeist risks his job. His daughter wants to medically transition but hasn't yet. Since launching the billboard, he has been in touch with other concerned parents who wish to do similar across the country, and they launched a GoFundme to raise money for billboards.

The anonymous father explains that his daughter got "sucked in" to this through a combination of a trans-identifying friend, extended amounts of time on the internet, and a trans-affirming school curriculum. After reading Abigail Shrier's investigative book, and spotting the ❤️ JK Rowling billboards that have been seen in Edinburgh, Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles, he was inspired to launch his own campaign.

"It is beyond frustrating and scary. And it's hard because I have no one to speak to except other people who are going through this. I believe that around the country and certainly in Los Angeles, people are not taking the time to see the other side of the coin. They have no idea what's going on. It's 100% blanket sympathy to the transgender ideology. They have no idea the harm it's causing these girls,"  he said to CP.
