To celebrate the Chinese New Year - or Lunar new year if you'd rather - Fred & Farid Shanghai created a FF Wechat emoticons collection around the horse. Wechat is a mobile text and voice messaging communication app, with 300 millions members around the world, of which 240 millions only in China.
This year the agency has given Wang Ermu carte blanche for this project. He is a Chinese illustrator, hotter than lava at the moment, and he has joined the Fred & Farid Shanghai team.
The artist had entirely handcrafted the wishing card āHorse Chineseā. This creation has been animated within the agency as an E-card, and turned into Wechat emoticons.
