Sony asks the man who knows everything about mornings what he thinks of their new Sony Dash wakeup-widget. Yep, Mr Sun. No, not that guy from Jimmy Dean ads, the real flaming sun. Good thing they have a fire extinguisher handy.

I love it, although music doesn't wake me up nearly as effectively as a loud, monotonous beeping.

I prefer the old cat-sleep-on-my-face OMG I CAN'T BREATHE wakeup call. It's just the right amount of purr and panic.
