At Boards Summit this morning, Cindy Gallop ( @cindygallop1 ) spoke about her subjective ideas on the future of advertising, adding "Anyone who disagrees with me, we can take it outside later". With real time reactions to a clients work, transparency isn't just a catch-phrase, it changes the way the industry operates. You can no longer be inconsistent, everything your brand does you're accountable for.
While clients needs to embrace the new way of working in a transparent world, and evolving as they are with their in-house everything that do PR and creative ideas, agencies need to remember what we are best at: the magic. That little black box of where the magic happens is in the execution, she says reminding us that "an idea is only as good, as its execution". There is no longer "the big idea", rather "lots of little, great, ideas". Heck, give the ideas away for free if you want but take control over how they are executed.
On that note she showed how she encourages action at If we ran the world.
