Classmates.com - Memory Lane Time Machine (2011)

Today a multimillion dollar national ad campaign launches for Memory Lane.  Much like an ode to Mad Men, the nostalgic :30 second spot (running on primetime TV – Network, National cable, Syndication- print and online) takes audiences through 60 years of Americana – highlighting the site’s 100 million pieces of sights, sounds and experiences of the past.

The campaign relies on the premise that there is a public obsession with nostalgia, that’s evident in everything from the revival of The Polaroid camera, to a remake of The Green Lantern and Smurfs movie coming out this summer.  The company has forged licensing agreements with TIME LIFE, Getty, AP, Universal Newsreels, etc., plus has the largest collection (70,000 and growing) of high school yearbooks in one place.  Memory Lane has become the premier destination for people reconnect with much more from their past as well as THE past.  So far, almost 60 million members are able to rediscover, relive, revisit and reminisce about the important events in their lives through vintage collections of music, movies, magazines, newsreels, classic videos, newspapers, yearbooks and more.

Memory Lane’s massive collection is growing every week. Please feel free to use the assets in the ftp for your story and let us know if you need anything else!
