Little Minx, the preeminent woman-owned and led production company, has signed with New York City-based Champion for East Coast representation. Little Minx’s prolific roster of directors includes world class talents Ali Ali, Andrew Dosunmu, Augusto de Fraga, Cuba Scott, Jeymes Samuel, Kaito, Kevin Wilson Jr., Luca Guadagnino, Malik Sayeed, Malin Ingrid Johansson, Rodney Lucas, Rodrigo Prieto, Romain Laurent and The Chartrands.

In 2023 Little Minx founder Rhea Scott was honored as an AdAge Leading Woman, which recognized her pioneering inclusive business model and ability to identify and nurture talent. Little Minx Executive Producer Helen Hollien was recently named a Campaign 40 Over 40 honoree, recognized for producing high profile and award-winning work. The company was recognized as a Standout Company on Ad Age 2022 and 2024 Production Company A-Lists.

“We’ve admired what Rhea and Helen have accomplished for some time and have seen Little Minx everywhere we turn,” said Joanna Margilaj, Partner/Rep at Champion. “We have had a desire to align with companies like Little Minx since the conception of Champion - they are real filmmakers, with a high end perspective on craft, and are organically diverse. Rhea is a cultural trendsetter with her finger on the pulse of the contemporary zeitgeist. It is something we try to embody ourselves.”

“Champion is the future,” said Scott. “And you can really feel that boundary-pushing energy in Julie, Johanna, and Patrick, my own personal champions. There’s something so fresh and forward about them…a desire to generate, to activate, to shake things up. It’s exhilarating to witness. Plus, they take care of my family at Make Make AND Eve gave them her seal of approval after scouting all the best reps in NY. So I’m more than confident we’ll be in good hands.”

Champion was founded in 2021 by Julie Margilaj Knips, J. Patrick McElroy and Joanna Margilaj. In addition to Little Minx, Champion’s current roster includes division7, DROOL, Florence, Institute, Landia, MakeMake, Squeak E. Clean Studios and Trevor, as well as creatives and producers.
